@pmccall777 If you fixed everything, @jefft will make you Engineer of the Year.
@pmccall777 So… everything is still terrible?
I’m not sure that there are any better examples of a victim of one’s own success than Satoshi Nakamoto.
@DarylSurat I wish, but no, I’m not in the business of mining.
@DarylSurat @Falkvinge Technically, they’re not going to be mining bitcoins, but rather Scrypt-based bitcoin spin-offs. Close enough.
Currently accepting guesses for how many times Bitcoin will die in 2014.
@CathyReisenwitz @sarahjeong Some will. Some won’t.
@kambash I try to respond to everyone in kind. Kindness for kindness, logic for logic, lols for trolls.
@kambash My interaction with “outsiders” leads me to believe that many of them think that we are “inside” a cult. ;-)
@kambash Not so much insiders/outsiders as users and non-users. Bitcoin needs to be as ease to learn to use as an iPhone / iPad.
Bitcoin is far from idiot-proof right now. Going mainstream before first increasing ease of use would be much worse than organic growth.
I think it’s appropriate that we scare away people who aren’t ready to take on the learning curve needed for cryptocurrency. Baby steps.
People keep telling me how recent press of hacks and losses is “bad for Bitcoin” because it scares away potential adopters.
@polemitis Hat tip to you in my latest post about investing in cryptocurrency within a retirement account. http://t.co/ee5ftIeyMd
@CoinChomp @BryceWeiner Outside of Silicon Valley or NYC it would likely be prohibitively difficult.
@BryceWeiner @CoinChomp I didn’t choose the crypto life; the crypto life chose me.
@tuurdemeester IDK, I still get told that I’m an idiot quite often. A lucky idiot :-P
Twitterquette tip: if you constantly “period reply” during arguments to gain support from your followers, you’re both a bully & a coward.
