@juscamarena @SatoshiLite @ryanxcharles Any more options than that and users will shoot themselves in the foot.

@juscamarena @SatoshiLite @ryanxcharles IMO consumer wallets should offer 3 fee choices (priority, average, low priority.)

@SatoshiLite @ryanxcharles My theory: higher price coincides w/more adoption, thus more contention for block space. https://t.co/GR4TiMZS2P

@SatoshiLite @ryanxcharles You’d think so, wouldn’t you? Not the case for the past year.

@seweso Probably can, though AFAICT those concepts have much further to go before they’re viable.

@bendavenport @ziggamon @coinbase IDK, seems like they still say they pay miner fees https://t.co/GP0DzdMuc7

@ChrisPacia @arbedout “No one?” IDK about that, I could see large institutions / custodial wallets / other enterprises doing it.

@CryptoStatham Just stating a total tx fee isn’t very helpful without knowing the size of the transaction. You may have had many inputs.

@ziggamon It’s really up to the company’s own internal accounting; the tricky thing for them is to determine tx fee ahead of time.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to ziggamon

@ziggamon I’ve received a few queries from customers about doing this. Would be a major signal if @coinbase or the like made this move.

Early sign of users getting priced of out bitcoin: services that previously absorbed on-chain transaction fees cease to do so.

If fee rates continue → @ 2X exchange rate & BTC hits $10,000 w/o any scaling solutions, cost of a 200 byte P2PKH tx will be 0.04 BTC ($400)

@BronxR @ToneVays @Richard_Toddar @brian_armstrong Let’s try to keep the conversation constructive and focused on the ideas, not the people.

@brian_armstrong You have a bunch of smart engineers working for you - have you tasked any of them with evaluating BU?
