@breathingdog There is a certain desire involved. Detractors see it as a near religious / cult-like belief, but I see it as optimism.
Speculators will come and go; market sentiment will ebb and flow; Cypherpunks will code. When it comes to predictions, that’s all I know.
There are many who will contribute their resources to furthering the goals of cryptocurrency so long as there is even a glimmer of hope.
Some say Bitcoin won’t fail simply b/c there are too many stakeholders who will prop it up; I kind of agree. But it’s not just about money.
Everyone has their own definition of Bitcoin failing / dying; I define failure as the entire community giving up on trying to improve it.
@pmccall777 There are more sellers than buyers, thus the exchange rate is dropping. Winklevii haven’t bought coins in several years AFAIK.
@ollekullberg It appears that Lopp Holdings will be purchasing even more coins this week than originally anticipated.
